Housekeeper - Third Shift
Western New England University seeks a full-time third shift housekeeper to work Monday-Friday from 11:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. It is the responsibility of our Housekeeping staff to maintain the standards of cleanliness and sanitation necessary to create healthy and pleasant surroundings for residents, employees and the public. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for cleaning restrooms, classrooms and offices; as well as vacuuming, sweeping and general cleaning. Individual will be responsible for running carpet machines, strip and refinish tile floors, and operate automatic scrubbers and buffers. Must all be able to carry these machines up stairs with assistance. Walking, standing, bending, kneeling and twisting, as well as the ability to climb stairs and small ladders and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis are required. In addition, must be able to work with various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. and have a valid driver’s license.
