Director of Assessment for Health Professions
The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks an energetic, experienced, and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Director of Assessment for Health Professions. This person will manage and coordinate the multifaceted activities associated with development, implementation and sustainability of the college assessment plan ad assessment of students.This position is responsible for oversight and direct support of programmatic assessment activities to ensure institutional effectiveness and systematic improvement aligned with program accreditation. This position reports to the Dean of Academic Affairs Office.Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with a broad range of senior level administrators complex ideas clearly and persuasively, verbally and in writing. Ability to utilize various computer applications (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Qualtrics, Tableau) to perform duties related to the functions of the office (e.g., create online forms for data collection; extract data; create tables, graphics, run data analysis; and prepare reports).Minimum a Master’s degree preferred Doctoral degree in education (or equivalent), social sciences, statistics, or related fields. Minimum of three years of experience in academic assessment, evaluation, research in higher education, or related field. Experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Excellent attention to detail and strong writing skills. Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work independently and as a member of the team, attend to multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.Excellent fringe benefits including tuition remission for employee, spouse, and dependent children.
