Associate Director for Career Education

The Associate Director for Career Education is responsible for the overall management of experiential education opportunities at Western New England University, including facilitating the Student Employment and the Academic Internship program and creating interactive career readiness programming.  The Associate Director, Career Education must possess the ability to collaborate across campus and create strategies to enhance students’ learning, leadership, career success, and professional identity.  The Associate Director supports internship and career outcome programs and functions through the focused application of data collection, data analysis, and industry research.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have direct experience utilizing Handshake as a career management platform and managing experiential opportunities in a college/university setting.

A Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Ability to collaborate and engage various constituencies to prepare and students and alumni on the value and range of experiential education in a University setting.

Proven written and oral communication skills with proficiency in MS Office, career technology, and analytical skills.

A strong commitment to a team environment and building relationships.
